""I have chosen
to make my
statement with
drawings of
people. Since
the age of three,
I have been
enamored with
the figure and its
lyrical placement
in space. Faces
are seldom shown
in my work, thus
allowing the body
to gesture mood.
I want my moods
to be timeless
but without age.
I wish to champion
the spirit's
renewal—its
springtime."
