Stan Obermueller showed
artistic promise by age five and enjoyed art classes in high school,
but didn't pursue painting until his early thirties. He works in
watercolor and mixed media. He creates his mixed media pieces by
layering rice paper on watercolor paper and using watercolor at all
stages, from laying down washes at the beginning to brushing in
detail at the finish. |
