2010 Entry Instructions


This year we are again offering an on-line format for you to submit the required application, photos of your work, and applicable fees. The following instructions will guide you through the process.

Mail in entry will not be available this year through RTFAF.  If you cannot find someone to help you with the online entry, click here for an independent merchant who will be happy to help with your images.  We still need your entry form and $30 payment sent online or mailed to:  Round The Fountain Art Fair Entry, P.O. Online Entry Instructions

  • The Deadline for Jury Application has been extended to March 8, 2010

  • Please read and understand this entire page before you begin.

  • Note – if you are entering under 2 different medias, this application process needs to be submitted separately for each entry.

  • There are three easy steps.  You will be sending the entry form, six images, and your payment.  Identify all with your full name so we can assemble them into a completed valid entry on our end.

  • Step 1, fill in and submit the following form.  Items in blue are optional, all others are required:

 

  • Step 2, email five images of your original work done after March 2007 and a sixth image showing your booth to rtffair@gmail.com. Images must be in jpg format and sized such that the longest side measures 400 pixels.  Image files must be named with the artist's name plus the number 1 thru 6 with 6 being the booth picture.  Example: JaneSmith1.jpg, JaneSmith2.jpg ---JaneSmith6.jpg.  Note: if you are unable to comply with this requirement we can accept other sizes and file names but there is an additional $10 processing fee for the conversion service.

  • Step 3 and last, use the link below to submit your non-refundable $30.00 jury fee plus the $10 processing fee if your images have to be resized or renamed. Follow the instructions after clicking the link to pay with any credit card or via PayPal.  We use the PayPal Donate link because it is the best way for us to collect single payments.  This link is for sending the Jury fee only.

                                            

You will be notified of your status by email no later than April 1, 2010.  If an artist is juried in and accepts the position, the booth fees are $125.00 single and $250.00 for a double booth

* Merit Award winners and Awards of Excellence winners from the 2009 Fair are not required to jury but you must submit your registration by February 28th if you plan to attend.  The entry form is still required but not the images or fee.

Special Note: A package of materials will be sent to all accepted artists approximately two weeks prior to the fair. Details regarding the judging process and an agenda for the day will be included. The package will also contain maps and an outline of what you can expect during your visit to Lafayette.
